Why was the Temple of Jerusalem destroyed in AD 70? Which prophets did God send to that generation to warn them of the impending judgment?

Do you believe Moses?  Have you obeyed Moses by learning and teaching your children the song he taught about your unbelief in the latter days, the time of Messiah?

Did Jesus die on the cross?

The Qur’an contradicts the Bible when it says Jesus did not die on the cross:

And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain. (An-Nisa 4.157)

The death of Jesus is one of the best attested facts of the Bible and ancient history. Jesus told His followers that He would die on the cross:

From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. (Matthew 16:21)

God makes Himself known His word and in His works; God works in history.  Denying God’s work in history is a denial of God.  It is not rational to deny history and it is godless to deny God’s work in history.

If you prove that Jesus did not die on the cross then you disprove Christianity. On the other hand, if Jesus was crucified then isn’t the Qur’an wrong? Why believe the Qur’an when it contradicts what God had revealed before Muhammad?

True stories of Muslims who have become Christians

Atheist

The philosopher John Leslie said, “Suppose you are condemned to die
before a firing squad of 10 expert marksmen. You are blindfolded, tied to a stake, and the command “fire” is pronounced. The shots are fired and to your amazement, you find that you have survived without even a scratch.
What do you do? Do you just shrug your shoulders and walk away saying, “Wow, that was a close one?!”

“Of course, you wouldn’t be able to say anything had you not survived,
but the fact that you survived is so remarkable that it calls for an
explanation.” Likewise, the glory of the heavens and the earth and
your place in them surely calls for an explanation.

Jesus came to touch the untouchables and cleansed those who trust in Him from the disease of their sin.

When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him.
A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. (Matthew 8:1-3)

Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak.
She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment. (Matthew 9:20-22)

If you are a Hindu man or woman, please know that a greater hope exists.  There is a personal God, who cares for you and desires to lift the burden of your suffering.  He knows how many hairs you have on your head and He controls every atom in the universe.  Joy beyond description awaits you in this life if you trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and commit your life to obeying His Word.

Sankara (788-820) said that “This entire world in which good and evil actions are done, etc., is a mere illusion…and does in reality not exist at all.”  If this is the case, then why isn’t the caste system a mere illusion?

I don’t know what I am but would like to learn more about Christianity

There are thousands of websites that explore Christianity, some better than others. I personally recommend that you read The Gospel of John and as you read it ask the following question, “Who is Jesus?”  If you live near Christ Church or happen to be in the area, I would be happy to meet with you over a cup of coffee or tea. Email me.
